Build a custom wellness plan that reflects your needs, preferences, and strengths. A mindful approach that takes account of 1) Movement 2) Nutrition 3) Recovery as a wholistic approach to health and wellness. A bit different than working with a therapist, life coach, or other health professional. As a Certified Wellness Coach, my duty is to listen closely to my clients, and to ask the appropriate questions to help each individual in discovering more autonomy, connection, and ultimately success within each day. Many times individuals have all of the tools for growth, however, they may lack the ability to see power, excitement, and love within themselves. That is where the skillset of a wellness coach comes into play. A wellness coach steers clients back on their path of possibilities, and upward spirals. Together we unlock keys within, always at the pace, and guidance, of each client. Eventually each client takes full control of their steering wheel. Utilize a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly check in from this point to find balance time again, and to observe and appreciate real growth over time.

The first step to ensuring proper balance within your wellness routine is to create mindful movement. For some individuals this will be a daily walk after work, or perhaps on a lunch break. For others, they will stick to a rigorous strength training regimen at their gym. Some will adopt a different style of movement, such as, yoga, dance, gardening, cleaning, swimming, surfing, etc. Movement may be an exercise, or workout, it may also not be. Finding the ideal way to engage and connect your body is step one towards wellness.
Think of nutrition as a 1/3 slice of your wellness pie. What you put into your body for fuel with undoubtedly have an impact on your energy, mood, recovery, and overall wellness. One does not need to be vegan, nor do they need to become a food guru. Simply learn what works best for your body, and find balance the best you may from there.
Recovery is an often overlooked aspect of health and wellness. Simply put, if we are not recovering properly each day, how will we be able to accomplish our tasks of the day? How will we continue to grow?
Proper recovery education encompasses learning about essential amino acids, proper sleep hygiene, setting up your home/sleeping environment in a manner that relaxes, comforts, and promotes restoration, understanding blue light, grounding, and much more.
